Experteer Overview As an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer in Madrid you will lead major data centre projects within a integral Mu0026amp; E consultancy. You will develop and coordinate mechanical services, mentor teams, and deliver robust designs aligned with client needs and regulatory standards. You will drive technical decisions, risk management, and project delivery through the RED Project Delivery Process. - Lead major projects and manage design coordination for mechanical (and related electrical) building services
- Perform cost and profit analysis including feasibility studies and fee bids
- Monitor project progress, adjust schedules, and prepare management or client reports
- Develop specifications for controls, instruments, and operating systems
- Survey, test, and report on existing installations
- Ensure calculations and drawings meet standards and customer requirements
- Represent the company in technical meetings with clients and contractors
- Provide guidance to clients and ensure risk and performance monitoring via internal controls

- Registered with a recognized Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros
- Chartered Eng status or equivalent plus relevant experience
- Significant experience in specification design for various building types
- Knowledge of health and safety issues and legislation
- Understanding of contracts and business law
- Proficiency with MS Office and calculation/spreadsheet tools
- Understanding of BS standards/UK regulations/codes
- Experience with invoicing and credit control
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Leadership and mentoring skills; strong presentation andmeeting facilitation abilities
- Consulting or construction background; ability to work in an international context; eligible to work in SpainRequisitos principales
