ph3Senior BESS Operations Maintenance Manager /h3pLocation: Europe or the United Kingdom (adaptable) /ph3Overview /h3pA leading international energy infrastructure company is seeking a Senior BESS Operations Maintenance Manager to oversee the technical operation and maintenance of utility-scale battery energy storage systems across multiple sites in Europe and the UK. /ppThis is a senior technical leadership role requiring strong hands-on BESS expertise, operational oversight experience, and the ability to manage maintenance teams, client relationships, and performance optimisation across a multi-site portfolio. /ppThe successful candidate will have significant experience in battery energy storage operations and maintenance, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, warranty repairs, and commissioning support. /ph3Key responsibilities /h3ulliLead operations and maintenance activities across multiple utility-scale BESS sites. /liliEnsure battery energy storage systems are maintained to a high operational standard through planned preventative maintenance, inspections, annual testing, troubleshooting, and reactive maintenance. /liliProvide remote and on-site technical support for commissioning, testing, performance verification, and fault resolution. /liliDevelop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintenance strategies, and technical documentation. /liliCoordinate internal and external technical resources to ensure efficient project execution and high levels of customer satisfaction. /liliBuild technical capability within the OM team through competency assessments, training plans, mentoring, and knowledge sharing. /liliEnsure all maintenance activities comply with local regulations, health and safety legislation, and company safety standards. /liliOversee spare parts management, warehouse operations, and local supply chain activities related to maintenance operations. /liliMonitor system performance using SCADA and remote monitoring platforms, analyse operational data,
