As a DLM Product Specialist, you will support product management for Device Lifecycle Management (DLM). This highly visible role requires experience working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across Marketing, Commercial & Operations, Group Technology as well as Product Management, GTM and Finance teams in key markets.
About This Role
As a DLM Product Specialist, you will support product management for Device Lifecycle Management (DLM). This highly visible role requires experience working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across Marketing, Commercial & Operations, Group Technology as well as Product Management, GTM and Finance teams in key markets. This role is integral for developing and managing DLM to drive growth in markets across Large & Multi-National business segments; This is a key product to support Vodafone’s Device as a Service strategy.
Specific Focus on

- Ensure DLM is a competitive and market leading Device as a Service Product
- Work with markets to enhance the product, capturing key requirements for local success and ensuring an effective market engagement process is in place
- CX is a core pillar of success. You will drive an end-to-end customer journey with automated solution, simplicity, digital experiences for an excellent customer experience that gives Vodafone differentiation
- Close working relationship with strategic partners in the solution
- Business case support with realistic assumptions & phasing to deliver successful in-year delivery and future growth. Focus on efficient cost base to ensure markets can benefit from a scale product
- Support Market demand is interlock, and alignment with local market counterparts
- Contribute to Product roadmaps that are defined to meet specific customer, commercial and strategic objectives to expand Vodafone’s leadership position and market share
- Support is provided for customer and sales opportunities to help drive growth, retention and customer satisfaction
- Revenue, profit, customer satisfaction and performance targets are delivered working with the virtual team
- Working closely with technical delivery functions (PPE) via SAFe Agile governance and cadence
- Supporting quarterly PI planning preparation,
with feature creation, acceptance criteria, and familiarisation
What You’ll Do
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

- Contribute to a 12-month roadmap in line with global business and commercial priorities
- Supporting the business commercials, P&L; and revenue growth roadmap
- Capture and translate global customer needs into clear product capabilities and features or to optimize existing products
- Focus on ‘product design’ to ensure all E2E requirements are captured including quality, safety, regulatory and sustainability
- Delivery of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with Local Product Managers. Ensure local market requirements are captured and integration, launch and go-to-market resources and budgets are planned and ring-fenced
- Embrace the SAFe/Agile product delivery to ensure necessary governance, funding and key deliverables are achieved on time and to quality, working with their respective Technical Product Owner selected Agile ceremonies
- Acts as ‘publicist’ for their product to ensure all Local Market Readiness and launch requirements are consistent, scalable and aligned through Local Product Managers and relevant teams (incl. marketing, commercial, sales etc.)
- Identifying/working with product partners and determining how they will support the creation of new products
Who You Are

- Requires particular focus on customers at a global level whilst appreciating any local nuances. Able to manage and understand global customer trends
- Natural ability to represent Product as required
- Drives functional stakeholders to align with their product strategy and requirements. Detailed understand and communicating global product strategy
- Requires ability to track P&L; and commercials globally for their product, and own assigned tasks to improve performance
- Excellent product knowledge particularly at a global level. Able to spot global product and technology trends
- Good understanding of key enabling product technologies
- Engages local stakeholders regularly on all aspects of their product and includes their feedback in the key PLCM phases
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strength in collaborative working and customer focus
- The ability to triage across a product and segment mix, ensuring issues are resolved and plans stay on-track
- Skilled in reviewing product performance end-to-end; including market perception, channel ability to sell, channel ability to deliver and service etc. across
- Appropriate experience in participating with and motivating virtual teams and the ability to maintain the right balance between tactical and strategic activity to remain on-top of our game and ahead of our competition
- Awareness of SAFe and LPM governance methodologies and principles. Ideally a certified Product Manager (e.g. POPM and/or IAPMM)
