As Head of Innovation, you will steer strategic innovation at i2CAT Space Communications, turning research capabilities into scalable solutions. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams to align with the strategic roadmap, drive technology transfer, and assess TRL and market relevance. You will engage with private partners, space agencies, and public funds to shape a thriving NewSpace ecosystem. and external stakeholdersResponsabilidades• Master in Telecommunications Engineering (or related field)• Proven track record in senior innovation roles, technology transfer, or strategic project leadership• Deep understanding of the space sector, especially space communications and NewSpace ecosystems• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities• Fluency in English• Catalan professional fluency (communication with Government of Catalonia)• Experience with public administrations, policy-driven innovation programs, or regional xcskxlj space strategies (nice to have)• Knowledge of Intellectual Property management and commercialization models (nice to have)• Strategic and execution-oriented mindset; ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams (soft skill)Requisitos principales• 4-1 hybrid model (4 remote, 1 in-office)• core hours flexibility (online 10:00–15:00)• Early-Finish Fridays (6.5-hour days)• intensive summer schedule (7-hour days)• 27 paid vacation days per year (over five weeks)• career growth and development opportunities
