JOB SUMMARY

Teneo is a software platform that allows developers to collaboratively build Bots and Conversational AI solutions in a unified coding and analytics IDE using a variety of SOA technologies, like Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM) technology, including GPT, to deliver superior customer service solutions. Teneo brings together many in‑house technologies such as a bespoke syntax for NLU (TLML), patented engine for NLP / dialogue processing, powerful query language for understanding the solution / end user historical behaviour. Alongside these custom technologies Teneo supports a fully hybrid solution approach through deep integrations with other technologies (such as CLU for SOA intent recognition), and solution‑level, project specific integrations to any technology with an API! This platform focuses on Enterprise usage, meaning large scale collaboration, platform resilience, separation of responsibilities. The platform team follows an agile process that has supported our journey to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance. This is a full‑time permanent position, joining our Barcelona office on a hybrid schedule.

OUR TEAM

You will be part of an international team focused on creating our next‑generation Conversational AI platform, following an agile project development methodology and using English as the daily working language.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Bring to life a new React‑based web interface to complement the .NET desktop frontend.
- Deliver projects for connecting Teneo solutions with the outside world.
- Solve UX challenges from specification through implementation.
- Transform functional requirements into production‑grade implementations.
- Improve and enhance existing software, as well as create entirely new features for the platform.




- Maintain the existing varied portfolio of connectors and analyse & present approaches or architectures for new ones.

Profile required

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer – React, also curious/interested in languages, NLP & (conversational) AI to join our international Products & Technology team. You’ll need to be an experienced UI Developer, keen not only to design,



but to solve UX challenges from specification through implementation. You should be comfortable with designing, but also with a full development lifecycle, largely in bringing to life a new React‑based web interface to complement the .NET desktop frontend, and in creating additional React FEs, connectors and Web widgets.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

- 6+ years of software development experience, with excellent coding skills in React and JavaScript.
- A solid foundation in computer science, with varied experience.
- Knowledge of REST, JSON, HTTP.
- Comfortable with UNIX systems for tracing backend issues.
- Groovy is a plus.

PRODUCT & ENGINEERING MINDSET

- Strong analytic and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to dive into complex problems with a can‑do attitude.
- A self‑starter able to work collaboratively in a distributed development team.
- Previous experience and knowledge building bots is a strong plus.
- Previous experience or strong interest in NLU, LLMs, Gen AI or machine learning is a plus.
- Previous experience with Contact Center Platforms (Genesys, AWS Connect, Nice, Five9, etc.) and Contact Center RPAs.
- Excellent English, both written and spoken.
