Experteer Overview
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer on Hopper's Cloud FinOps team, you will drive cost-efficient, scalable infrastructure in Google Cloud. You will join a small, high-performing Platform SRE group to automate and optimize reliability, security, and performance for millions of users. You will tackle cost-optimization projects, from reducing network egress to storage tiering and autoscaling tuning, while contributing to incident response and platform governance. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve cost attribution and ensure on-call coverage across time zones. This role offers impactful work in a fast-growing startup with a strong emphasis on automation and pragmatic design.

Responsabilidades
• Strong background in SRE, DevOps, Software Engineering or Systems engineering
• Troubleshooting skills
• System design with analytical capability
• Knowledge of Google Cloud
• SQL knowledge
• Containers, Kubernetes, and tooling like Kustomize and Helm
• Istio or Service Mesh familiarity
• Networking knowledge (DNS, TLS, certificates, ingresses)
• Observability with logs, metrics, APM (prefer Datadog)
• Security knowledge (IAM, RBAC, network security)
• Authentication/authorization technologies
• CI/CD
• Database technologies
• Scripting in Bash and Python or similar
