Private Equity Active across key European regions is looking to hire an Associate / Senior Associate to join its Madrid-based team.

You will work closely with senior professionals and gain hands-on exposure across the full investment lifecycle, with a primary focus on Spanish transactions and selective international exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support origination and screening of investment opportunities, including sector research and market analysis
- Build and maintain advanced financial models (LBOs, valuations, business plans, sensitivities)
- Participate in and coordinate due diligence processes (financial, commercial, legal, etc.)
- Assist in deal execution, structuring and negotiation
- Prepare investment committee materials, presentations and memos
- Monitor portfolio companies, including performance analysis and participation in governance processes




- Support exit processes and fundraising activities

The role offers exposure to the full deal cycle—from sourcing to exit—which is typical in lean investment teams.

Candidate profile:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field (MBA is a plus)
- 3–5 years of relevant international experience in private equity, investment banking, strategy consulting or transaction services
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills are essential
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to produce high-quality materials (PowerPoint & Word)
- Native or near-native Spanish and strong English required
