Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead Axon’s general product compliance and market access programs, ensuring certifications across key regions to support launches and lifecycle continuity. You’ll partner with Engineering, Product, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Legal, and other teams to embed compliance into development and changes. You will own certification programs end-to-end, including risk assessments, regulatory strategy, testing coordination, and submissions. You’ll be the subject-matter expert on EMC, RF, safety and related regulations, guiding teams and external bodies. This position offers impact across products and markets within a mission-driven, collaborative environment.

• Lead global product compliance and market access for Axon products, ensuring certifications across international markets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into development, commercialization, and changes
• Own certification programs from planning to approval, including risk assessments, strategy, testing coordination, and documentation
• Serve as SME on EMC, RF, electrical safety, battery safety, laser safety, wireless technologies, and environmental regulations
• Build relationships with external labs, certification bodies, and regulators to address evolving requirements
• Lead internal compliance reviews and audits to maintain approvals and reduce risk
• Mentor colleagues and strengthen scalable compliance processes, with growth into broader leadership
• Manage multiple certification projects with competing priorities, timelines, budgets, and stakeholders
• Deliver training and tools to improve compliance awareness and collaboration
• Define success through timely market access, strong cross-functional partnerships, and proactive risk management
Responsabilidades
• 8+ years in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or related roles for complex hardware or connected products
• Experience in global product compliance, regulatory strategy, and market access for hardware/connected products
• Advanced knowledge of international regulatory frameworks, certification pathways, and launch readiness impact
• Experience engaging with laboratories, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable plans for product development and launches
• Proven leadership in partnering with engineering, product, supply chain, legal, and commercial teams
• Project leadership and mentorship skills for managing high-impact certification efforts
