Posted: 2 days ago. We are looking for a Middle Java Engineer with strong knowledge in Java and Kotlin, available for a minimum of 50% of the time. The goal is to build a unified, scalable ads platform. We are transforming a long-standing business application into a modern technology stack. Our goal is to create a modular monolith designed for scalability and future microservices separation. We follow hexagonal architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to ensure clean, maintainable solutions.

Primary Qualifications

- A Middle Java Engineer with 3–5 years of professional experience
- Strong knowledge of JVM technologies, including modern Java and modern Kotlin
- Experience in AdTech, ideally with DSP (Demand‑Side Platform) development
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach; English level: Upper‑Intermediate

Nice‑to‑have Skills

- Previous experience working with high‑load systems
- Understanding of system design principles
- Familiarity with cloud platforms
- Experience collaborating with Senior, Principal Engineers,



or Architects
- Ability to work in fast‑paced and dynamic environments

Responsibilities

- Contribute to the development and optimization of AdTech solutions
- Work with modern Java/Kotlin within JVM‑based architectures
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers, tech leads, and architects
- Participate in technical discussions, propose solutions, and improve system performance
- Ensure high‑quality code delivery and follow best engineering practices
