Your mission is to build the virtual environment that allows the software team to validate their developments safely. You will be the bridge between physical theory and embedded reality:
- Subsystem Emulation: Develop Simulink models that accurately replicate the behavior of ABEP thruster components.
- Virtual Testbed Creation: Set up and maintain SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and MIL (Model-in-the-Loop) environments so embedded software can be tested before touching real hardware.
- Impact Analysis: Simulate how different variables affect thruster performance, providing critical data for system optimization.
- Integration Support: Empower the Embedded Software team by providing reliable models that emulate system interfaces and dynamics.
- Support Mindset: You are driven by creating robust test environments and understanding how subsystems interact.
- Hardware/Firmware Interest: You understand communication protocols (CAN, I2C) to effectively emulate them,
even if you don't code them directly.
- Background: Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electronics, Control, or similar). Junior to Mid-level profile.
