About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Monitoring Sanalist (Zabbix and Splunk) to lead and evolve monitoring and observability capabilities within a complex IT environment.

This role combines technical expertise , team leadership , and stakeholder management , ensuring high-quality monitoring services, operational stability, and continuous improvement. The adecuado candidate will act as a technical team leader, and trusted advisor for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

️ Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary SME for Zabbix and Splunk , defining standards, best practices, and architectures.
Design, implement, maintain, and optimize monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex monitoring and performance issues.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of monitoring platforms.
Integrate Zabbix with other tools and platforms (APIs, integration hubs, CMDBs, ServiceNow, etc.).
Support observability use cases: metrics, logs, events, and service health monitoring.




Drive continuous improvement and innovation in monitoring and alerting solutions.

✅ Mandatory Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience with Zabbix and Splunk.
Strong experience in large-scale monitoring and observability environments .
Proven experience as a senior technical reference or team lead.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication, presentation, and reporting abilities.
Fluent English (C1 or higher) , both written and spoken.

Nice to Have
Previous experience as Team Lead or Technical Lead .
Automation skills (Ansible preferred).
Zabbix and/or Splunk certifications.
Experience with Grafana, Kibana , APIs, and integration hubs.
Experience in ITIL-based or service-oriented environments .
Knowledge of ServiceNow integrations and APIs .
Exposure to cloud, hybrid, or container-based infrastructures .

Work Model
Hybrid model: up to 4 days remote and 1 day on-site (Madrid or Málaga).
For other locations, remote conditions will be discussed during the interview process.
