Next Generation Rail Technologies (NGRT) is a Spanish company consisting of highly skilled and dedicated integral experts within software and hardware development, bringing the next generation solution(s) to the railway industry. Our vision is to be a game changer for the railway industry by introducing a novel and cost-effective solution addressing the needs of clients worldwide helping infrastructure managers and train operators to secure their infrastructure and operations. NGRT is based in the technology park in Malaga, Spain.

Our HQ is in Malaga where you will be based, and you should be located or relocated within a commutable distance of the Tech Park. We also allow you to occasionally work from home should the circumstances allow this.

With an international client base and following international railway norms together with offering our products all around the world, the corporate language is English, and you should be able to communicate well on technical terms, as well as securing that all documentation and written communication is in English.

HARDWARE ENGINEER

You should be an expert HW Engineer with minimum skills as below:

- Master’s degree, or similar documented skills, in electronics engineering
- Altium designer and or similar
- Experienced knowledge in communication protocols
- Extensive experience in PCB design, and building complete BOM’s
- Knowledge and experience in design, code, build and integrate Firmware with NGRTs Software
- Proficiency in AVR MCUs
- Assembler
- Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
- A friendly, ambitious, and positive individual with a flexible and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
- Familiar with and having knowledge from the Railway Industry will be a plus. and finally, Knowledge of how to build CENELEC certified HW
