As our business grows, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior GL Accountant to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, modern environment.

Who We Are Looking For:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy‑Taxation, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience in accounting; internship experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Experience with office tools (e.g., Google Workspace and MS Office), including knowledge of pivot tables. Experience with Business Central is a plus.
- Languages: Advanced proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is highly preferred for the Belgian market.
- Soft Skills: A proactive team player with a collaborative spirit and a strong desire to learn.
- Mindset: Excellent organizational skills and a systematic approach to problem‑solving.



You possess a strong sense of responsibility with respect for deadlines and the ability to deliver on time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Junior GL Accountant, you will support the finance team in daily operations and work toward managing accounting cycles independently:

- General Ledger Support: Assist in the maintenance and control of the general ledger under the guidance of senior colleagues.
- Month‑End Closing: Assist in preparing month‑end closing tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Financial Records: Help calculate and record basic depreciation and accruals.
- Regulatory Reporting: Support the preparation of reports for regulatory bodies and internal management.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on Belgian accounting laws (BE‑GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Ad‑hoc Tasks: Assist with various operational tasks within the accounting and finance department as needed.
