As a Senior Software Engineer in the Fin Core Engineering team, you will help advance Ebury’s multi-currency FX platform, delivering reliable services for clients and internal operations. You collaborate across diverse teams to design, build, and own scalable components, driving improvement through RFC-driven development and automation.
You contribute to a culture of learning, mentoring, and ownership, shaping the platform’s next growth phase. This role combines technical impact with cross‑country collaboration in a fast-growing fintech environment.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Contribute to the development of the FX platform’s next iteration and automate improvements to existing services
- Collaborate with team members and engineering leads to design new services and components via RFC process
- Coach and mentor junior engineers to raise team effectiveness and efficiency
- Lead product initiatives from discovery to delivery with product and operations teams
- Own the products you build, from development through ongoing maintenance
Responsabilidades
- Extensive experience in building complex software systems
- Primarily Python experience; other OOP languages acceptable
- Experience in Fin Tech, banking, or regulated financial environments
- Strong written and spoken English for cross-country collaboration
- Proficiency in building and managing services, APIs, monitoring, alerting, and external system integrations
- Ability to work with legacy code, propose improvements, and reduce technical debt
- Commitment to quality with testable code and unit/integration tests
- Experience with CI (Jenkins) pipelines and Terraform for deployment
- Occasional on-call rotation for 24/7 system reliability
