Job Overview

D&A; Project Planner – Location: Bilbao. This role supports Digitalisation & Automation and Operational Excellence initiatives across our operations. The planner works with Project Managers and the Director of Operational Excellence to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
- Coordinate stakeholders across engineering teams, IT, site operations, suppliers, automation engineers, and project managers to drive action and meet deadlines.
- Monitor project budgets, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and SAP activities to provide accurate visibility of progress and expenditure.
- Prepare project dashboards, reports, KPIs, and management updates; use Power BI as appropriate.
- Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, reporting standards, and project governance across the Digitalisation & Automation and Operational Excellence portfolio.

Qualifications




- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience supporting or managing digital, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, or operational projects with proven stakeholder coordination.
- Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong prioritisation, follow‑up, and initiative.
- Interest in digitalisation and automation technologies within industrial and mining operations.
- Experience with project planning tools, SAP, Microsoft Excel, and reporting solutions such as Power BI is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a desire to develop within Digitalisation & Automation.
