This role will is responsible for implementation of new products into the manufacturing environment, applying lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement and design and process improvements. /p /br /brh3Core Functions /h3 /brul /brliIdentify, analyze and implement continuous quality improvement in design and manufacturing process efficiency, safety, quality and cost. /li /brliDevelopment of work process’ to ensure that products are assembled properly and meet quality objectives through work instructions and training. /li /brliPerform capacity analysis, manufacturing process design, line layout design for existing and new manufacturing process and machine needs and develop better tools or systems. /li /brliParticipate in procurement, installation, and runoff of new equipment processes. /li /brliCoordinate, provide input, and participate in specification, design, build, development, and launch of new products. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Education and Experience /h3 /brul /brliBachelor’s in mechanical engineering / industrial engineering or related field required. /li /brliManufacturing engineering preferred. /li /brliAbility to analyze and redesign using Auto CAD / Inventor / SolidWorks. /li /brliExperience with Lean Manufacturing Principles and Techniques. /li /brliExperience in Six Sigma and TPS preferred. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Travel /h3 /brul /brliOccasional travel is required,
