ph3Position Summary /h3 /brpThe Manufacturing Engineer will assess manufacturing processes and mechanical integrity of products to ensure they will meet or exceed the company and customer’s expectations. This role will is responsible for implementation of new products into the manufacturing environment, applying lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement and design and process improvements. /p /br /brh3Core Functions /h3 /brul /brliIdentify, analyze and implement continuous quality improvement in design and manufacturing process efficiency, safety, quality and cost. /li /brliDevelopment of work process’ to ensure that products are assembled properly and meet quality objectives through work instructions and training. /li /brliPerform capacity analysis, manufacturing process design, line layout design for existing and new manufacturing process and machine needs and develop better tools or systems. /li /brliParticipate in procurement, installation, and runoff of new equipment processes. /li /brliCoordinate, provide input, and participate in specification, design, build, development, and launch of new products. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Education and Experience /h3 /brul /brliBachelor’s in mechanical engineering / industrial engineering or related field required. /li /brliManufacturing engineering preferred. /li /brliAbility to analyze and redesign using Auto CAD / Inventor / SolidWorks. /li /brliExperience with Lean Manufacturing Principles and Techniques. /li /brliExperience in Six Sigma and TPS preferred. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Travel /h3 /brul /brliOccasional travel is required,
