Experteer Overview
In this role you will contribute to the design and integration of airborne communications and connectivity systems within a multi-programme environment. You will coordinate system engineering activities, develop L1 design and verification, and contribute to certification and security accreditation. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to align requirements, baselines and reviews, driving robust, compliant communications architectures. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape avionics connectivity across Airbus transport programmes.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Coordinate overall Comms System Engineering activities (time, cost, quality)
• Lead L1 system design and integration/verification
• Contribute to requirements and design for all Comms chains and segments
• Support L1 integration, certification, security accreditation and qualification
• Participate in L1 technical baselines and reviews
• Engage in progress reviews and customer discussions
• Coordinate with Chief Engineering Office and COMMS Design Offices




• Back up and contribute to other Transport A/C programmes architecture activities

Responsabilidades
• Engineering degree (preferred PhD/Telecommunications Engineering)
• Experience in system engineering or communications/avionics roles
• Airborne architecture knowledge (UAS, MRTT, C295, A400M) or similar
• Familiarity with system engineering processes (DPs/ABDs) and airworthiness/certification processes
• Knowledge of comms disciplines (voice radio, IP/digital, data links, SATCOM, LTE; incl. Link16/Link22)
• Awareness of cyber security implications for airborne platforms (highly regarded)
• Proficiency with project management, requirements capture/traceability (DOORS), configuration control
• Model Based Systems Development (Simulink, Matlab, CAMEO)
• Problem solving, decision making and assertiveness
• English fluent
