M&A; Junior Underwriter

Role overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills to join our M&A; team in Madrid. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who is eager to develop a career in M&A; insurance underwriting.
You will work closely with senior underwriters, brokers,



legal advisors and clients to deliver tailored insurance solutions, combining technical legal expertise with commercial awareness in a fast-paced international environment.

Role responsibilities
- Supporting senior underwriters in the analysis and underwriting of M&A; insurance risks;
- Reviewing and analysing due diligence reports, primarily legal due diligence documentation;
- Conducting analysis of transaction documentation, including Share Purchase Agreements (SPA), Disclosure Letters, Management Agreements and other related documents;
- Participating in the negotiation and quotation of policy terms and conditions with brokers;
- Coordinating with external advisors, including leading law firms and specialist consultants;
- Supporting business development activities and contributing to client and broker relationship management;
- Assisting in the preparation of underwriting files, quotations and policy documentation;
