Based in Tarragona, the Senior Quality Officer is responsible for controlling and managing fruit quality reporting across Zespri’s European hubs. This role ensures that third-party logistics (3PL) providers comply with Zespri’s quality standards through systematic auditing and reporting.
The position also provides guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders on all quality-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Control Vessel and Container Audits: Control the discharge audits in Zeebrugge to monitor fruit quality during unloading, based on predefined parameters. Prepare and submit detailed audit and discharge reports.
- Control 3PL Performance Monitoring: Evaluate 3PL compliance with quality processes through regular audits and performance reporting.
- Prepare and monitor the Supplier Accountability Audits: Ensure we are well prepared for upcoming SA Audits as well as monitor the audits, based on predefined parameters.
- Provide insights on Insurance Claims: Provide insights on Insurance Claim inspections, communicate findings, and follow up with the operations quality teams in case of claims.
- Collaboration with 3PL: Provide necessary documentation and information to enable 3PL
