Two dance interludes are to be shown totalling approx. 10 minutes: Classical (warm-up) and Modern (solo or group work). In addition, video or audio material with a self-reflection on a self-selected topic should be submitted (approx. 5 minutes).

An audition role is to be presented and a vocal piece sung and danced, taken from musical literature, of approx. 5-10 minutes each.

For All Applicants

- You must upload the work samples to the DAAD media database. Links to other online storage locations etc. cannot be accepted. Hyperlinks are partially possible for supplementation, but the digitised work should preferably be available in the DAAD media database, to make sure that the access is guaranteed.
- The following formats are permitted: MP3, WAV, MPEG, MP4, MOV, JPEG, JPG, PNG, TIF, GIF, PDF, INDD, PSD, CR2, EPS, DOC, DOCX, XML, PPTX, PPT. Files provided in other formats cannot be accepted for review.
- Each submitted file should be marked with the following:

DAAD Reference number_Name_First Name_Field of Study_Name of Work Example: 91XXXX_Mustermann_Max_Austria_Dance_A bugs Dream01 More specific distinctions can be made based on academic disciplines, such as Dance, Directing or Drama. This also allows us to clearly assign applicants to the appropriate selection committees.
- Please do not upload any work samples, portfolios or any other works to the DAAD portal.

Important

- The presentation of your work samples plays an important part for the evaluation and judging of the selection committee. Even the best work of art can loose its impact, if the presentation is lacking or the selection committee does not understand the context of your work sample. As mentioned in the work sample list, you can add additional context or information to the work samples (title, date of performance/date of creation etc.).
- If several people have contributed to a work of art/performance/film, all participants and their role or task must be stated in the closing credits, and if necessary in the catalogue of works, especially the role played by the applicant.
