Research on innovative materials for pollutant removal and ion separation/capture, using electrochemical processesSynthesis, formulation, and electrochemical characterization of electrode materialsUse of advanced characterization and analytical techniques such as SEM, XRD, XPS, N2 Adsorption Isotherms, UV Spectrophotometry, Raman, FTIR, Gas Chromatography, Ion Chromatography, etc.Manufacturing components for electrochemical cells, assembly and testing of electrochemical cells including using analytical techniques of the aqueous effluentsCommunicate and disseminate research results through high-quality scientific channels including high impact scientific publications, presentations in conferences, etc.Supervision of Master or undergraduate studiesRequirements
