Guest Services Trainee

to join our Front Office team.

About the RoleAs a

Guest Services Trainee , you will learn the day‑to‑day operations of a luxury hotel’s Front Office department while supporting the team in ensuring a seamless guest journey. You will have the opportunity to develop your communication, organizational, and customer service skills while working alongside experienced hospitality professionals.

This is an operational internship with a

rotating schedule , including shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to hotel operational needs. You will collaborate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments to ensure outstanding guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests upon arrival and assist in creating a positive first impression of the hotel

Support the check‑in and check‑out process under the guidance of the Front Office team

Assist guests with requests, inquiries,



and general information about the hotel and destination

Support the coordination of room assignments, amenities, VIP setups, and special requests

Maintain effective communication with Housekeeping, Concierge and other operational departments

Monitor guest arrivals, departures and preferences to help anticipate guest needs

Assist in handling guest feedback and escalating concerns when necessary

Support the preparation of welcome letters, room keys and guest amenities

Participate in daily briefings, training sessions and operational meetings

Represent the Grand Hyatt brand with professionalism, enthusiasm and attention to detail

Qualifications

Currently studying or recently graduated in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field

Proficiency in

English and Spanish

(spoken and written); additional languages are highly valued

Previous customer service experience, hospitality internships or exposure to luxury service environments is a plus

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and multicultural environment

Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset

Familiarity with hotel systems is an advantage;





Opera knowledge

is a plus

Availability to complete an internship agreement through a university or educational institution, if applicable

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays according to operational needs
