As a Procurement Specialist, you will contribute directly to the organization's performance by ensuring the efficient sourcing of goods and services while building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will combine commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills to optimize costs, minimize risks, and support business objectives. In this role, you will monitor market developments, identify improvement opportunities, and help create a resilient and efficient supply chain. Working closely with multiple departments, you will transform operational needs into effective purchasing strategies.

- Lead procurement processes, including purchase order creation and validation, invoice approvals, change control, and dual sourcing initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and maintain relationships with suppliers while ensuring adherence to quality, regulatory, and performance standards.
- Track warehouse operations, follow up on investigations, and monitor procurement-related KPIs to mitigate risks and uncover opportunities.
- Design and implement sourcing strategies, operational procedures, and annual plans aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Produce regular reports, analyze performance data, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.





What we expect from you:

- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or other relevant field
- 2-8 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or strategic sourcing
- Fluency in both Dutch AND English
- Experience with SAP ERP systems and procurement tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
