Senior Business Analyst | Employee Benefits | Brussels | Hybrid

I am currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a leading insurance organisation in Brussels on a long-term project within their Employee Benefits division.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a highly visible team responsible for delivering key business and technology initiatives across one of the most important areas of the insurance sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business and IT, working with a wide range of stakeholders to improve processes, support system enhancements, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of Employee Benefits products and services. The environment is collaborative, business-focused, and offers the opportunity to work on complex projects that have a direct impact on customers, brokers, and internal operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse and document business requirements within the Employee Benefits domain
- Act as the key interface between business stakeholders and IT teams
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
- Facilitate workshops and challenge requirements where appropriate




- Support process improvement and digital transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with development and testing teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Contribute to solution design and ensure business objectives are met

Required Experience

- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong experience within the Insurance sector
- Proven experience working within Employee Benefits, Group Insurance, Pensions, Life Insurance, or similar insurance products
- Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent in French or Dutch, with English fluency required

Nice to Have

- Experience working with Mainframe/Cobol environments
- Experience with UL3
- Experience working within large enterprise organisations
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
