SAP Payroll / Employee Central Payroll Consultant – Belgium

We are preparing to support a major international payroll transformation for a Belgium-headquartered organisation operating across multiple countries.

The initial focus will be on delivering the Belgian SAP Payroll solution as part of a wider programme covering approximately 9,000 employees. We are therefore interested in speaking with experienced freelance SAP Payroll consultants who combine hands-on implementation experience with strong knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation.

Rather than simply configuring payroll, you'll play an important role in helping deliver modern, AI-enabled payroll implementations while working alongside experienced payroll and HR specialists.

Your focus

- Deliver a full-cycle SAP Payroll or Employee Central Payroll implementation for Belgium
- Translate Belgian legislative and compliance requirements into a robust payroll solution
- Support payroll configuration through preparation, testing, shadow payroll and hypercare
- Advise on gross-to-net and post-payroll processes, benefits in kind and social-secretariat requirements




- Understand the HR and payroll data required to support an accurate and compliant solution
- Help define how Time & Attendance information should feed into payroll
- Utilise AI-enabled implementation tools to accelerate configuration while validating quality and ensuring compliance

We’re looking for

- Multiple full-cycle SAP Payroll implementation projects in Belgium
- Strong hands-on SAP Payroll or Employee Central Payroll experience
- In-depth knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation and compliance
- Strong understanding of the wider payroll ecosystem, including payroll inputs, taxation, benefits, social secretariat, post-payroll processes and how time & attendance feeds payroll.
- An interest in modern delivery approaches, automation and AI-enabled implementation tools
- Fluent English
- Dutch or French language skills strongly preferred; both would be highly advantageous

- Freelance contract, full time
