Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior IT Programme Manager / Transversal Delivery Lead to manage the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional IT initiatives across multiple domains.

The role will support a strategic infrastructure transformation programme, focused on improving resilience, scalability, and operational capabilities.

You will coordinate delivery across engineering teams, security, operations, and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment, governance, risk management, and successful execution of large-scale initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT initiatives, including scope, planning, budget, risks, and quality.
- Drive execution in line with delivery methodologies, governance processes, and IT controls.
- Ensure required documentation, approvals, reporting, and compliance activities are completed.
- Coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders across infrastructure, security, platforms, operations, and business functions.
- Manage dependencies across projects, releases, and related initiatives.
- Engage with senior stakeholders and provide clear reporting on progress, risks, issues, and decisions required.




- Lead governance meetings and support executive reporting.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and value optimisation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, driving proactive resolution plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong experience in project/programme management within complex IT environments.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, transversal initiatives.
- Strong understanding of IT controls (ITIL/COBIT), governance frameworks, and financial frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments.
- Solid knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including network, data centres, cloud, and hybrid environments.

- Azure DevOps (Boards).
- ServiceNow (Project, Risk, Resource Management modules).

Soft Skills

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and build relationships with individuals across diverse locations worldwide.
- Ability to influence, align, and lead without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, risk management, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to operate in a highly complex, fast-paced, and general environment.
- Familiarity with ITIL and certification in project management is advantageous.
