Leading to increased and better information and communication to rail passengers and rail crew.

Setting up diverse channels for purchasing tickets, a better monitoring of assets and further increase automating operational processes.

Job:

As a tester you will join a project team in charge of the entire implementation of a new solution.

Your position notably involves:

Build and maintain UI/API automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and ReadyAPI.

Develop reusable automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD (Bitbucket, Azure DevOps).

Execute and enhance automation suites for regression, smoke, and integration testing.

Perform API testing, validate contracts, and ensure workflow-aligned coverage.

Plan, design, and execute functional, SIT, E2E, and regression tests (manual + automated).

Identify, log, and track defects using Jira/XRay/Azure DevOps; provide clear reporting.

Follow testing standards, maintain documentation, support UAT, and perform smoke, sanity, exploratory, performance, DB, and cross-browser testing.

Collaborate with QA, development teams, and stakeholders; participate in sprint demos.

Conformity Criteria:

10+ years experience in software testing.

5+ years experience in automation testing.

3+ years experience with Selenium or Playwright.

Onsite presence (Belgium) 2 days a week required.

Professional knowledge of English (minimum B2),



fluency in the local language French or Dutch (minimum C1).

Evaluation Criteria:

Hard Skills:

Proficient with Playwright, Selenium or similar.

Proficient with ReadyAPI, Postman or similar.

Proficient with Java, TypeScript or Python.

Expert in planning, design, and execution of (manual + automated) functional, SIT, E2E, APIs and regression testing.

Handy with Jira/XRay/Azure DevOps or similar for defects identification, logging and tracking.

Familiar with CI/CD pipeline (Bitbucket, Azure DevOps).

Soft Skills:

Collaboration & communication in an Agile context: demonstration of experience in Agile, cross-functional collaboration and communication (e.g., from previous role or work experience).

Analytical skills & problem-solving: demonstration of experience in problem-solving skills and approach (e.g., from previous role or work experience).

Work ethic: demonstration of organisation, initiative and change adaptability skills (e.g., from previous project or organisational roles).

Skills:
