We are looking for an experienced and proactive Roll-out Engineer to drive the deployment of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across multiple international production sites. In this role, you will lead end-to-end implementation projects, support business stakeholders throughout the roll-out process, and ensure the successful adoption of new digital solutions within manufacturing environments.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in scaling and optimizing a strategic MES platform that supports general operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full MES roll-out projects: from site assessment to implementation and hypercare.
- Support business stakeholders during roll-out, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption.
- Drive change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of the new system.
- Train key users and provide hands-on onboarding support.
- Coordinate hardware requirements and ensure infrastructure readiness.
- Define and optimize a global roll-out strategy for efficient scaling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, production, and our own development team.
- Ensure the quality of each roll-out, including documentation, training, testing and post-implementation support.
- Capture key requirements and translate them to our own development team.
Candidate Profile
- Preferably 7+ years of experience in different areas of IT/IS and in a production environment.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Proven experience in Agile methodologies, and project-based working.
- Project management certifications are an asset.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing systems such as MES, WMS, APS, PLE is a plus.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL is required.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Comfortable with international travel (up to 30%)
- You have a degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience in Production IT technology.
You'll be pe part of a dedicated product team and you will report directly to the Product Owner of the Manufacturing team and work closely with stakeholders across the business.
