We are currently hiring an Offshore Island Construction Manager to join one of the largest energy transmission companies in Europe. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark offshore infrastructure project supporting Europe's energy transition through the construction of a new offshore energy island.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate offshore construction activities during the execution of the island construction project.
- Report directly to the Island Works Manager.
- Coordinate offshore client representatives and project engineers.
- Oversee Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) compliance of the EPC contractor.
- Supervise quality control activities together with the QC team.
- Monitor construction progress and prepare progress reports.
- Support staffing, onboarding, and integration of offshore client representatives.
- Review construction methodologies, procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between the client and EPC contractor for daily offshore construction activities.
- Coordinate closely with marine, civil, HSE, contracts, quality, and project management teams.




- Ensure construction activities comply with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

Required Skills:

- Minimum 10 years of relevant construction management experience.
- Proven experience managing civil construction projects.
- Offshore construction experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of structural construction works.
- Working knowledge of corrosion protection principles.
- Understanding of multidisciplinary engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Telecommunications) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred).
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in structured, multidisciplinary project environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience using ACONEX or similar document management systems.
- Valid offshore medical certification (e.g., NOGEPA or equivalent).
- BOSIET (or equivalent offshore survival training).
- Boat Landing Training certification.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Dutch or French is an advantage.




- Must be legally authorized to work in Belgium.
