Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Industrialisation & Methods to lead the industrialisation strategy of a new aerospace manufacturing site. You'll oversee the transfer and industrialisation of precision aerospace components while building and leading a high-performing Methods team.

Responsibilities

- Lead the industrialisation of new and transferred aerospace components.
- Develop and optimise manufacturing routings, processes and work instructions.
- Define tooling, production methods and inspection plans.
- Analyse engineering drawings, 3D models and customer specifications.
- Manage industrialisation reviews and production ramp-up activities.
- Ensure process capability in collaboration with the Quality department.
- Own and develop the PLM environment, configuration management and technical documentation.
- Lead CNC programming and CAM activities, including simulation and program validation.
- Build, manage and develop the Industrialisation & Methods team.




- Drive continuous improvement, industrial performance and cost optimisation.

Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 8–10 years of experience in industrialisation or manufacturing engineering, including team management.
- Strong experience in precision machining, preferably 5-axis machining.
- Experience in aerospace, defence, space, medical or other high-precision industries.
- Proven experience industrialising complex manufactured parts.
- Experience with manufacturing transfers or greenfield site start-ups is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of PLM systems, CAM software and Siemens 840D sl / 820D CNC programming.
- Excellent understanding of technical drawings, GD&T; (GPS/ISO), manufacturing processes and special processes.
- Strong analytical, organisational and leadership skills.
- Professional proficiency in French and English.
