IInternational Field Service Engineer | Belgium | Worldwide Travel

Are you a Field Service Engineer looking for a role that combines technical challenge with international travel?

I'm currently supporting an established Belgian manufacturer of highly specialised industrial equipment, seeking an experienced International Field Service Engineer to join its growing service team.

In this role, you'll travel extensively across Europe and internationally, installing, commissioning and maintaining complex electromechanical systems at customer sites across a range of industrial sectors. No two weeks are the same, making it an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy variety, autonomy and solving technical problems in the field.

Responsibilities

- Install, commission and start up complex industrial equipment.
- Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs and fault-finding.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical and electromechanical issues.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on site.




- Complete service documentation and work closely with engineering teams.
- Travel extensively throughout Europe and worldwide.

Requirements

- Technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience as a Field Service, Commissioning, Maintenance or Installation Engineer.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Comfortable reading technical documentation and schematics.
- Dutch and English are essential. French and/or German would be advantageous.
- Happy to undertake regular international travel.
