What will you do?

As a Technical Documentation Consultant, you'll work on a business-critical Microsoft-based application within an enterprise environment. You'll collaborate closely with developers, architects and business stakeholders to document the application landscape and ensure knowledge is captured for future maintenance and development.

Your responsibilities include:

- Analyzing existing applications and understanding their architecture and functional components.
- Reviewing .NET/VB.NET source code where needed to understand application behaviour.
- Creating clear and structured technical documentation.
- Documenting system architecture, business processes, data flows and integrations.
- Developing implementation, configuration and maintenance guides.




- Collaborating with technical and business teams to validate documentation and improve overall system understanding.

What are we looking for?

- Experience with .NET / VB.NET and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio, SSRS and Git.
- Experience documenting complex enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional proficiency in Dutch and English.

Nice to have

- Experience with legacy Microsoft applications.
- Background in application lifecycle management or knowledge transfer projects.
- Experience in the pension, insurance or financial services sector.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted documentation tools is considered a plus.

? Full-time freelance assignment ( 2 days per week Berchem/Leuven)
