As an Epidemiologist at ICON, you design and deliver observational research to generate evidence that informs healthcare decisions globally.
You will work within the Insights, Evidence u0026amp; Value team to translate complex data into high-quality outputs for clients.
The role blends study design, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional experts, contributing to meaningful health outcomes.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design observational studies, including protocols and analysis plans, with clients and experts
• Lead and manage observational research projects using secondary healthcare data
• Perform statistical programming and analysis using SAS and/or R
• Produce tables, figures, reports, and manuscripts for publication and presentation
• Develop data collection tools and assist with questionnaires and forms
• Source and evaluate secondary datasets and data for epidemiological and health economic research
• Ensure quality throughout project delivery via QA activities
• Manage project timelines, budgets, client communications, and financial performance
• Support proposal development and client presentations
• Foster client relationships and contribute to business growth
• Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge sharing within the team
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality research on time
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 15%)
Responsabilidades
• 5–7 years of relevant epidemiology experience
• Experience with patient-level healthcare data and observational methods
• Strong statistical programming skills in SAS and/or R
• Experience from concept to reporting/publication of epidemiological studies
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build client/stakeholder relationships
• Collaborative mindset with mentoring interest
• Interest in healthcare decision-making, real-world evidence, and outcomes research
• Willingness to travel about 15%
