As an Electrical u0026amp; Lighting System Design Office Engineer you will contribute to the design, development, and integration of electrical and lighting systems for aerospace platforms using simulations.

You will work with cross-functional teams to model, validate, and optimize performance, ensuring reliability and compliance with standards.

The role focuses on concept and detail design, analysis, and test planning, both in-silico and on prototypes.

Your work will support continuous improvement of design processes in a mission-critical environment.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design electrical power distribution systems, wiring harnesses, and lighting systems for aerospace applications
• Perform load analysis, power budgeting, and fault tree analysis for system reliability
• Use simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, PLECS, CATIA V5/V6 Electrical) to model and optimize performance
• Create electrical schematics, harness designs, and component specifications
• Collaborate with mechanical, avionics, software, and manufacturing teams for seamless integration




• Define test procedures and participate in simulation and prototype testing
• Identify and resolve design issues during development and integration
• Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical design processes and tools
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations for stakeholders

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor/Master in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in electrical system design, preferably in aerospace/defense
• Proficiency in CAD tools for schematics and harness design (CATIA V5/V6 Electrical, SEE Electrical)
• Strong expertise in electrical simulation software (MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, PLECS)
• Solid understanding of aerospace electrical standards (MIL-STD, RTCA DO-160, ARP)
• Experience in lighting system design principles and photometric analysis is a plus
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical info clearly
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
