In this Senior Underwriter Surety role based in Madrid, you will drive growth for Surety Iberia within a European framework, shaping market strategy and key client relationships. You’ll assess credit and transactional risk, ensure high-quality service, and lead opportunities with corporates and brokers. You will collaborate with the Europe leadership team to expand the client base and portfolio, while mentoring junior professionals. This position combines risk expertise with client-facing impact in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsabilidades




• Significant experience in surety, commercial banking and/or credit-risk financial services
• Experience with multinational corporations and providing credit, grant u0026 surety solutions
• End-to-end understanding of the Surety value chain
• Strong understanding of financial markets, debt financing and capital markets instruments
• Mature, confident communicator with negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset focused on objectives and long-term goals
• University degree or equivalent in finance, economics, law or related discipline
• Spanish native speaker with English (written and verbal) proficiency; other languages a plus
• Willingness to travel across Europe
