Senior Software Engineer at Ebury’s FinCore Engineering team, Madrid, focusing on developing and refining a multi-currency accounting platform and FX services. You will collaborate across international teams to deliver scalable services, own features from discovery to production, and mentor others while upholding quality and reliability. The role blends hands-on development with architectural input, RFC-guided design, and maintenance in a regulated fintech environment. You’ll contribute to a platform that enables borderless growth for clients, within a collaborative, open-source–friendly culture.

Responsabilidades
• Extensive experience in building complex software systems
• Proficiency in Python; other OOP languages acceptable
• Experience in FinTech or banking with regulated environment knowledge
• Strong communication in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to design and manage services, APIs, monitoring, and alerting
• Experience integrating external systems and reducing technical debt
• Quality focus with well-tested code (unit/integration tests)
• Familiarity with CI pipelines (Jenkins) and Terraform for deployment
• Willingness to contribute to OSS and occasional on-call rotations
