What we offer Now, Leroy Merlin Spain is looking for a Marketplace
Business Developer to help grow our seller network and drive
performance on the platform. You will be welcomed into a dynamic
and international context ranked amongst Forbes’ best place to
work. You will develop your professional career thanks to
tailor-made training programmes (including a Marketplace bootcamp
and a store discovery training). You will become part of a context
that listens, where you can propose ideas and initiatives and play
a leading role in the Group's digital and omnichannel
transformation. You will create your own network of vendor partner
portfolios that will come onboard the Marketplace. You will be able
to work in a hybrid mode. You will further connect with your team
through team buildings nationally and internationally. ? Mission As
a Marketplace Business Developer , your main responsibilities will
be: Prospect the market to identify, prioritize and manage a sales
pipeline, lead negotiations and recruit high-potential Sellers onto
the marketplace. Recruit and build strong relationships with the
new sellers. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor
activity to identify opportunities to improve our offering and stay
ahead of the competition. Provide the sellers with data driven




insights and a strong service to help them grow their business on
the Leroy Merlin Marketplace. Coordinate and manage projects across
the organization (IT, Retail, stores, finance, etc.) and
communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight
deadlines for high visibility projects. ? Who you are From 2 to 3
years of experience in marketplace, e-commerce , FMCG or retail.
Proven commercial (prospection and cold-calling) skills. Proven
analytical skills. Proven interpersonal and relational skills.
Willingness to learn. Highly organized and results oriented with a
high degree of ownership. Fluency to speak, read and write in
English and Spanish. Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Business,
Engineering or related field. The position is based in our offices
in Alcobendas , Madrid. ? We can't wait for you to join our team!
