Join Novartis as an Associate Clinical Programmer to help develop analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled solutions supporting Clinical Data Operations. You will work with clinical and operational data to build data pipelines and generate insights that drive risk identification, efficiency improvements, and informed decision-making across studies. You’ll collaborate with experienced programmers, analysts, and SMEs while expanding your expertise in clinical research and data analytics. This hybrid Barcelona role offers hands-on impact in a global, mission-driven environment and exposure to emerging technologies. You will contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Perform data extraction, cleaning, and aggregation per specs
• Build and maintain analytics, reporting, and visualization solutions under guidance
• Run validation checks, document results, escalate issues
• Execute scheduled jobs and data refreshes, monitor run status, document outcomes
• Maintain and update runbooks,
data dictionaries, and user guidance materials
• Develop small utility scripts, participate in code reviews, follow version control/CI practices
• Complete structured learning pathways and collaborate with senior colleagues
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, Life Sciences, or related discipline with relevant analytical experience
• Working knowledge of Python or R, plus SQL or SAS for data manipulation
• Understanding of data analytics concepts xqbhyrx with exposure to ML/AI through projects
• Ability to work with complex datasets to support analytics and decision-making
• Awareness of clinical research and clinical trial operations; familiarity with CDISC standards and EDC systems beneficial
• Fluency in English with strong communication and collaboration skills
