We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid - IE Tower.

Responsibilities

Your role as a Accounting Junior Associatewill involve:

- Assistin the daily operations of general accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.

- Perform bank reconciliations,identifyingand resolving discrepanciesin a timely manner.

- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes across the organization.

- Review and analyze balancesheetand income statement accounts for accuracy and completeness.

- Ensure compliance with local (Spanish GAAP/PGC) and international accounting regulations.

- Prepare andmaintainfinancial reports for management, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

- Contribute to process improvements and the automation of administrative and accounting tasks.

- Address internal queries and provide accounting-related support to other departments.

- Participate in internal projects and cross-functional initiatives asrequired.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role,



you should possess the following qualifications:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.

- 1-3 yearsof experience in a similar accounting or finance position.

- Knowledge of accounting principles under Spanish GAAP (PGC); exposure to US GAAP or IFRS is a plus.

- Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus).

- Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI is valued.

- Prior experience in an audit or accounting role at a Big Four firm is a plus.

- Experience and willingness to learn and apply AI-driven tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.) in administrative and accounting processes.

- Strong written and spoken English; Spanishproficiencyrequired.
