We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Congress Unit in Barcelona, focusing on the management of international housing congresses across Europe.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end project delivery, from initial client request through execution and financial closure. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams across Europe to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.

You will play a key role in managing client relationships, coordinating operational activities, and supporting business growth within the congress housing segment.

Responsibilities

- Managing housing congress projects from acquisition to delivery

- Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle

- Coordinating operational aspects of congress execution

- Selecting and negotiating with suppliers and partners

- Collaborating with international congress teams across Europe





- Supporting business development and sales initiatives

- Ensuring accurate financial management, invoicing, and reporting

- Maintaining strong relationships with convention bureaus and congress centers

Qualifications

- Degree or relevant education in Tourism, Events, or Congress Management

- Proven experience in congress, events, or PCO (Professional Congress Organizer) environments

- Strong knowledge of the congress and association industry

- Hands‑on experience xcskxlj with EventsAir (mandatory or highly valued)

- Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel

- Experience working with front-office or back-office systems

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment

- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

- Fluent in English (mandatory) and at least one additional European language
