The Economic Management Unit forms part of the
Financial Management Directorate and is responsible for overseeing
procedures with accounting impact within the organisation’s ERP
system. The unit manages the Foundation’s income and expenditure,
ensuring that financial statements accurately reflect its assets
and financial position. Job Description The successful candidate
will join the expenses team within the unit. They will be
responsible for the financial management of various expenditure
items, including the processing and recording of invoices and other
direct costs. The role also involves regular interaction with
researchers and external stakeholders involved in expense
management. Main responsibilities and duties: Provide support to
researchers in the execution and management of expenditure. Assist
the expenses team with the financial recording and processing of
documentation. Prepare, organise and maintain all required
documentation in coordination with the team lead. Education and
qualifications: Required: Higher vocational qualification (FPII or
equivalent) in Administration, Finance or a related field.
Professional proficiency in Catalan, Spanish and English.
Desirable: Degree in Economics or another social sciences
discipline. Experience and knowledge: Required: At least 2 years’
experience in an administrative role. Basic knowledge of accounting
and taxation. Ability to manage workload peaks and communicate
proactively with team members. Desirable: Experience with ERP
systems, particularly Fundanet. Previous experience in CERCA
research centres.
Labour conditions: Working hours : Full-time
(37,5 hours per week). Starting date : As soon as possible. Gross
annual salary : Remuneration will be determined by experience,
skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective
Agreement pay scale. Contract type : Open-ended contract linked to
