Key Responsibilities
Work closely with delivery teams and client stakeholders to provide technical leadership, shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artifacts.
Assist clients in their journey to Microsoft Azure or leverage their existing investment in it, focusing on applying cloud architectural patterns and migration strategies.
Play a key role in Avanade's sales process by shaping high‑level solution designs, estimates, and contractual details for client proposals in collaboration with other subject‑matter experts.
Engage in early conversations with clients and sales teams, support origination and deal qualification activities, and become a trusted advisor.
Prepare and represent solutions in Deal Reviews and play an active role in Orals, Client Presentations, and negotiation discussions with key client stakeholders.
Complete pricing activities using standard solution architecture processes, estimating methods, and modelling tools to drive quality and consistency.
Ensure solutions are both deliverable and commercially viable while identifying and mitigating technical and delivery risks.
Translate complex technical solutions into business outcomes for executives, customers, sales teams, and wider technical audiences.
Provide coaching and mentoring to technical teams and support the growth of Avanade's AI and Data community.




Apply technical and consulting knowledge to advise clients on governance, stability, and changing business needs.
Participate in the design, planning and implementation of Azure solutions, deploying with Infrastructure as Code.
Deploy and architect Azure solutions across the platform (subscriptions, management, networking, security, compute, storage, operations) for major enterprise projects.
Apply expertise of latest Azure Infrastructure technologies (Open Source on Azure, Kubernetes, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Frontdoor, Azure Migrate) and Azure DevOps (CI/CD).
Resolve complex technical challenges with cloud and on‑premises solutions, automation, scripting and DevOps.
In sales roles: hunt, shape, and win opportunities—owning the end‑to‑end sales cycle, building pipeline, delivering revenue through new logos and expansion, leading co‑sell motions with Microsoft, and earning executive trust.
