Head of Communications – AI & Deep Tech PR | Media Relations | Executive Communications

We are currently partnered with a rapidly growing AI and deep technology company that is redefining the future of advanced computing. As part of their continued international expansion, they are looking to hire a Head of Communications to lead integral media relations, executive positioning, and corporate storytelling across Europe and North America.

This is a highly strategic and hands-on communications leadership role focused on building a world-class in-house PR function, developing relationships with leading journalists, and shaping the company's external narrative across AI, enterprise technology, and deep-tech markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and drive the company's media relations strategy across the US and European markets.
- Build and maintain direct relationships with leading technology, AI, business, and financial journalists.
- Secure high-impact earned media coverage through proactive outreach and relationship management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for media enquiries and press engagement activities.
- Develop and execute executive communications strategies for senior leadership and the CEO.
- Prepare executives for interviews, media appearances, conferences, and industry events.
- Write and edit press releases, executive statements, thought leadership content, bylines,



and corporate announcements.

Key Requirements
- Significant experience in Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Media Relations roles.
- Proven track record securing earned media coverage through direct journalist engagement rather than solely through agency relationships.
- Established network of journalists, editors, and media contacts across major technology, AI, business, and financial publications.
- Strong experience within AI, enterprise software, deep-tech, quantum computing, SaaS, or complex B2B technology environments.
- Existing media relationships across the US technology and business press.
- Experience supporting organisations through rapid international growth, major funding rounds, acquisitions, or IPO preparation.
- Background in AI, machine learning, quantum computing, enterprise software, or advanced technology sectors.
