ppbAre you ready to join a leading global renewable energy company that is making a positive impact on the world? /b /p pbWe are X-ELIO, a Brookfield-owned company and a integral leader in the renewable energy sector; with over 3 GW of renewable projects (solar/BESS) built, we currently operate in 12 countries and have a development pipeline of 12 GW of solar and 14 GW of BESS capacity, and /b we are looking for you! /p pReporting to: Accounting, Administration Audit Manager /p pBased in: Madrid /p pThe selected professional will lead all accounting and administration activities across X-ELIO’s Spanish entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong business partnering in a fast-growing renewable energy environment. /p h3What will you do? /h3 ul liLead accounting and administrative operations for Spain, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple entities. /li liManage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to deadlines. /li liOversee preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS, Spanish GAAP (PGC), and internal policies. /li liCoordinate external audits, tax processes, and relationships with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies. /li liLead, develop, and manage a team of four accounting professionals providing mentoring, training, and establish performance goals to drive the team’s success. /li liDrive process optimization, automation, and digitalization initiatives, leveraging SAP S/4HANA and AI-based tools. /li liPartner with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Development, and Construction teams on complex transactions, project accounting, MA, and financing activities. /li /ul h3What do we need? /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. /li li+5 years of experience in a similar leadership role within multinational environments.
