Job OverviewThe Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is an international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion. It is open to Airbus to offer young professionals paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
VIE is a specific contract that falls under Business France’s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements
European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco) who are graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday).
Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.
Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28.
Position DetailsA VIE for the (job title) role has arisen within Airbus Helicopters / Airbus Helicopters España in Albacete. You will join the Information Management department within Digital.
The Digital department is launching a major project, CORE, to re-insource its IT activities in Spain. The objective is to strengthen internal Digital teams in France and Germany and establish a new structure at the Albacete University Campus with an ambitious target of 200 to 250 employees. Recruitment for all Digital roles will take place between 2026 and 2029.
Responsibilities
Coordinate project management activities in collaboration with the internal project lead and facilitate project follow-up meetings.
Produce project reporting and status updates.
Monitor recruitment processes across France, Germany, and Spain.
Coordinate project-related events and milestones.
Manage project communication and internal updates.
Manage and maintain the project’s AppScript application.
Create project templates (meeting minutes, schedules, budget trackers).
Organize governance bodies, including Steering Committees and Project Committees.
Consolidate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to provide a comprehensive overview of progress.
Identify variances (schedule, costs) before they become critical.
Ensure reliable information reporting to Project Management/Executive leadership.
Anticipate HR requirements (Capacity Planning) and prevent overallocation.
Consolidate budgets, track actuals versus forecasts, and manage budget landings.
Assist management in project prioritization based on ROI and resource availability.
Maintain the cross-project risk register and propose mitigation plans.
Conduct post-project reviews (Lessons Learned) to capitalize on best practices.
Travel RequirementsRequires business travel once a quarter to France or Germany, and the ability to travel accordingly.
Required Skills and Experience
Educated to degree level in Information management or a related discipline.
2‑4 years of experience in project management (apprenticeships and internships included).
Proficiency with the entire Google suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Apps Script).
Team spirit.
Autonomy in the project management activities.
Adapted communication to various stakeholders around the project.
Advanced level of English, intermediate level of Spanish.
