About The Role

As a Principal Fluid Systems Engineer you will report to the Sr Manager Reactor and Safety Systems and be located at our HQ in Madrid. This is a full-time hybrid position.

Main Responsibilities

-

- Perform thermal-hydraulic and piping networks engineering design

- Develop pump, valve, tank, heat exchanger, HVAC, or other equipment sizing requirements for plant design or modifications

- Identify technical issues and propose practical solutions for assigned projects and tasks.

- Support engineering staff in multiple design and analysis activities.

- Coordinate with other disciplines, including I&C;, electrical, civil/structural, licensing, and layout, across diverse projects and design changes.

- Communicate progress, technical challenges, and result to the technical lead and project management.

- Collaborate with construction, I&C;, electrical, and operations teams, representing the discipline both internally and externally.

- Participate in customer, vendor, and regulatory meetings, presenting technical material and explaining design decisions.

- Complete work within defined scope, budget, and schedule constraints.

Qualifications

-

- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical,



Nuclear).

- We value a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering.

- 10+ years of experience in a similar role.

- Proficiency with MathCad, MATLAB, VBA, FATHOM or ARROW

- Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, ASHRAE, NFP or API standards

- Fluent in Spanish and English (minimum B2 or equivalent)

- Ability to travel to Westinghouse or customer sites (international travel included)
