We are partnering with a well-established multinational group operating across multiple countries, with a strong international footprint and a network of subsidiaries worldwide. As part of its continued growth and the evolution of its Corporate Finance function, the company is looking to strengthen its Financial Controlling team.
This role is based at the corporate headquarters and offers the opportunity to work in a highly international environment, collaborating closely with finance teams across different regions and supporting senior management in key financial decision-making.
Reporting to the Financial Controlling Manager, the Financial Controller will play a key role in overseeing the financial performance of the Group's international subsidiaries. The position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial information, coordinating the monthly reporting process, supporting the consolidation of financial statements, and providing high-quality analysis to Corporate Management.
Coordinate the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting process with international subsidiaries.
Review and analyse financial statements submitted by Group entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with Group accounting policies.
Support the preparation and consolidation of the Group's financial statements.
Analyse variances against budget, forecast and prior year results, identifying key business drivers and financial trends.
Prepare management reports,
dashboards and executive presentations for senior leadership.
Monitor key financial KPIs and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure the quality, completeness and timeliness of financial information received from subsidiaries.
Act as the main point of contact for finance teams across different countries, providing guidance on reporting requirements and deadlines.
Collaborate closely with Accounting, Treasury, Tax and FP&A; teams to ensure alignment across the Corporate Finance function.
Support internal and external audit processes by providing the required financial information and documentation.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and standardisation of financial reporting processes, internal controls and reporting tools.
Participate in finance transformation initiatives, including the implementation and optimisation of reporting systems and ERP solutions.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
Around 3 - 5 years of professional experience in Financial Controlling, Group Reporting, External Audit (Big Four) or a similar corporate finance role within an international environment.
Solid understanding of financial statements and IFRS.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and reporting/consolidation tools is an advantage.
Fluent English (mandatory).
