In this fixed-term role, you will apply marine water quality modelling and data analysis to support evidence-based decisions on discharges and environmental protection. You will join the national Marine team within Operations Catchment Services, collaborating with stakeholders to assess impacts on estuaries, coastal waters and bathing water quality.
You will translate complex monitoring data and model outputs for diverse audiences, contributing to major projects and regulatory programs. Your work will help shape decisions across infrastructure, nuclear builds, and national environment initiatives, with opportunities for training and mentoring.

Responsabilidades
- Experience in data analysis
- Knowledge of modelling software
- Proficiency with Excel, Access, R, Power BI, GIS
- Experience with tools like Mike or Cormix (advantage)
- Ability to interpret monitoring data and model outputs
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Comfort working in a virtual team and travelling for meetings
- Knowledge of water quality and the marine environment is essential
