Experteer Overview In this role, you lead the Verification, Validation, and certification lab for switches and sockets, driving testing campaigns and compliance with international standards.
You will manage a ~20 FTE lab team, ensure accreditation and ISO/IEC ***** conformity, and partner with Ru****amp;D and certification bodies to support product development.
You shape lab strategy, optimize processes, and enable on-time, high-quality test results.

• Lead and develop the Vu****V lab team (Product test Engineers u**** technicians; ~20 FTE)
• Plan, prioritize and supervise all testing campaigns (design validation/verification, type, routine, surveillance, certification)
• Ensure compliance with VDE and AENOR Level 3 accreditation requirements
• Maintain and improve lab processes, workflows and documentation
• Ensure tests follow IEC/EN standards for switches and sockets, internal specs, and regulatory requirements
• Guarantee ISO/IEC ***** quality systems compliance and own internal/external lab audits
• Manage health, safety, and environmental compliance for equipment and operations
• Provide technical guidance for complex tests and approve test methods/reports
• Ensure calibration, maintenance, and investment planning for lab equipment
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and digital tooling in testing
• Collaborate with Ru****D, Quality, Certification, Manufacturing,



and Product Management to meet milestones
• Act as primary contact for certification bodies and external labs
• Communicate test progress, risks, timelines, and results
• Define the lab roadmap aligned with Ru****D and business strategy
• Optimize lab performance via KPIs and resource allocation
• Introduce best practices in reliability engineering, accelerated testing, and predictive quality

Responsabilidades
• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, or related field
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical products ( switches, sockets, installation devices)
• Solid expertise in laboratory testing (electrical/mechanical/environmental/safety)
• Experience with IEC/EN product standards and certification (IEC *****, IEC *****, VDE, AENOR)
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC ***** and test method validation
• Leadership experience managing large technical teams in lab/engineering environments
• Strong planning, prioritization, problem-solving
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to drive change and continuous improvement
