Grid Dynamics is looking for a Simulation Engineer to join our Robotics Lab and contribute to the development of a revolutionary robotics platform. In this role, you will design and implement high-fidelity simulations of mechanical systems and robotic environments using NVIDIA Omniverse, supporting the development and optimization of real-world robotic solutions. You will collaborate closely with robotics and ML engineers, leveraging Python and simulation tools such as Isaac Sim and Blender.
Responsibilities
- Develop realistic simulations using NVIDIA Omniverse / Isaac Sim
- Validate and tune physical parameters, kinematics, and constraints
- Create Python scripts for automation and simulation logic
- Collaborate with robotics and ML engineers to test algorithms
- Work with CAD models and integrate them into simulation environments
- Maintain version‑controlled simulation assets
- Document simulation workflows and logic
Requirements
- Strong Python programming skills
- NVIDIA Isaac Sim
- NVIDIA Omniverse
- Unity
- Unreal Engine or similar simulation platforms
- Understanding of physics‑based simulation
